National Fatherhood Initiative works to increase father involvement by equipping communities and human service organizations with the father-engagement training, programs, and resources they need to be father-inclusive.
National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI) is dedicated to improving the well-being of children by increasing the proportion of children with involved, responsible, and committed fathers. Founded in 1994, NFI provides evidence-based resources, programs, and training to organizations and communities to support father involvement. Their initiatives include the 24/7 Dad program, Father Engagement Academy, and various fatherhood curricula, all aimed at enhancing the capacity of fathers to be effective parents. NFI also offers comprehensive research, free resources, and collaborative opportunities to promote father-friendly practices nationwide.
