We’re excited to introduce Social Cascade Teleprompter, a mobile app that makes it easy to record short patient education videos and publish them directly to your social channels. No editing software or complicated workflows required and built specifically for healthcare teams. Start with ready-to-use, medically-accurate scripts, confidently record with a built-in teleprompter, and let Social Cascade automatically handle captions, formatting, and publishing to your connected socials.

Why we built this

Teleprompter is designed to fit easily into a busy clinical schedule. The workflow is intentionally simple:

1. Start with a script: Choose from a library of ready-to-use scripts curated and validated by Social Cascade’s trusted Content Partners, or customize your own script on any topic. All scripts are tagged with relevant sources, when applicable, allowing clinical teams to review and validate.

2. Record with the Teleprompter: The script scrolls on screen while you record, helping you stay on message while speaking naturally, with controls to adjust scroll speed, text size, and opacity. You can also use Practice Mode to rehearse.

3. Live captions: Closed captions are automatically added to your video, so it’s ready for social media without extra editing.

4. Automated post captions: A customizable post caption is also added to the video with an overview and list of sources to reinforce credibility and accuracy. 

5. Publish to your channels: Post immediately, schedule for later, download, or send the video to your Social Cascade account for team review, then publish directly to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and more.

You can create short-form videos in flexible formats, from quick 30-45 second updates to longer 2-3 minute explanations, depending on the topic and your audience. Teams can also collaborate through a shared script library, track content from draft to published, and enable admin review to ensure consistency across the organization. 

The best part is that the entire process takes as long as recording the video itself.

What’s coming next

Teleprompter is the first step in Social Cascade’s expanding video capabilities. Based on user feedback, future updates may include new recording templates, branding options, and the ability to combine videos with supplementary graphics. The vision is to pair the clarity of visual patient education with the authenticity of a provider speaking directly to their community.

Early release

Teleprompter is now available in early release for current Social Cascade customers. You must have a Social Cascade account affiliated with your organization’s active subscription to use the app. If you don’t yet have access, ask your administrator to add an account for you to your organization’s subscription.
